Has the broadest spectrum of activity against the convulsant different patterns and is one of the most potent anticonvulsant available, it is also less toxic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Formula | Each tablet contains:<\/strong><br \/>\nSodium phenobarbital\u00a0\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026 100.0 mg<br \/>\nExcipients q.s.\u00a0\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026. 250.0 mg<\/p>\n<p><strong>Indications \/ Uses:<\/strong><br \/>\nSymptomatic and prophylactic control of convulsive epilepsy contractions used for maintenance treatment. General sedative for nervous dogs by clamping. Gastric sedative.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Administration and dosage:<\/strong><br \/>\nOral administration.<br \/>\nIt is recommended for long-term maintenance a dose of 2.0 to 6.0 mg\/kg divided into two daily doses in dogs.<br \/>\nIn cats a dose of 4.0 mg\/kg every 12 hours can be used.
