These breeds are more sensitive to suffer toxic symptoms with lower doses.<br \/>\nAdministration of the product can be painful so it is recommended proper animal restraint and the possibility of\u00a0 prior application of a local anesthetic should be considered by the attending veterinarian.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dosage<\/strong><br \/>\nIn dogs the dose is 1 ml subcutaneously every 12 kg (ivermectin 0.3 mg\/kg, praziquantel 5mg\/kg).<br \/>\nWhen treating scabies, repeat every 14 days, until remission of symptoms. Remission of symptoms takes usually 4 to 6 weeks.
