However,\u00a0there is sufficient evidence that ivermectin also affects channels independent from GABA chloride.<\/p>\n<p><strong>INDICATIONS<\/strong><br \/>\nUse in dogs and cats<br \/>\nExternal antiparasitic, ectoparasiticide acaricide indicated for the treatment and control of mange caused by mites in dogs and cats, these being highly contagious. If other animals live\u00a0with the affected animal it is recommended to keep it isolated from the others. Optional\u00a0when the lesions are small, in cases of more intense parasite infection systemic treatment is recommended.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FORMULA | Every\u00a0100 g contains:<\/strong><br \/>\nIvermectin &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;. 0.4gr<\/p>\n<p><strong>DOSAGE<\/strong><br \/>\nThe use of this product is not recommended for animals under 6 weeks. Do not use in English Shepherd dogs and their crossbreeds Beagle, Collie, with white paws. These breeds are more sensitive to suffer toxic symptoms with lower doses.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">In dogs:<\/span>\u00a0in case of scabies apply a small amount in the affected area. Separate completely the animal&#8217;s hair and apply the product on the skin. Animals\u00a0with much hair should have\u00a0the whole area shaven for better product absorption. Application should be repeated every 7 days and continue until remission of symptoms.\u00a0A\u00a0maximum total of 6 applications is estimated.
