Anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, antiallergic – Tablets for oral use<\/strong><\/p>\n

FORMULA | Each tablet contains:<\/strong>
\nPrednisolone ………………….. 20 mg
\nExcipients …………………….. 250 mg<\/p>\n

ACTION:<\/strong>
\nPrednisolone is a intermediate-acting corticosteroid.
\nIt is recommended to administer the tablets in dogs between 7 and 10 am in the morning and in cats between 22 and 24 pm to match the normal hormonal curve.<\/p>\n

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:<\/strong>
\nPrednisolone 20 mg Unimedical is used in dogs as anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and antiallergic.
\nIt is recommended in inflammatory and allergic skin lesions.
\nReplacement therapy as a treatment for inflammatory and allergic processes, when suppressing inflammatory processes.
\nControls autoimmune processes (pemphigus vulgaris, vegetating pemphigus, pemphigus foliaceus and pemphigus erythematosus) allergic dermatitis, allergies by contact, seborrheic.<\/p>\n

CONTRAINDICATIONS:<\/strong>
\nDo not use in case of demodectic mange, chronic arthritis, liver and kidney failure, duodenal ulcer, pancreatitis, in acute infectious diseases, fungal diseases and glaucoma.<\/p>\n

DOSAGE:<\/strong>
\nIn dogs it is recommended to administer the dosage between 7 and 10 am to match the normal hormonal curve.<\/p>\n

Replacement therapy………………………………………..\u00a0 0.25 mg\/kg. (1\/4 tablet \/ 20 kg \/ day)
\nSkin allergies and inflammatory processes ……… 0.5 to 1 mg\/kg. \/day (1\/4 to 1 tablet \/ 20 kg \/ day)
\nImmune diseases and certain cancers …………. 2-4mg\/kg \/day (2-4 tablet \/ 20 kg \/ day)<\/p>\n

In prolonged treatments:<\/span>
\n1) Perform the induction of 5 to 7 days at a rate of 0.5 to mg \/ kg. \/ Day (1\/2 tablet \/ 20 kg \/ day)
\n2) Continue with a double dose of 1 to 2 mg \/ kg \/day every 48 Hs (1-2 tablet \/ 20 kg \/ day) supply it in the morning in the dog.
\n3) Reduce dose 50% at weekly intervals.
\n4) Discontinue gradually.<\/p>\n
